Swaybar rubbing trac bar frame mount?

3.5" RE super ride kit on 2000xj. Had this kit on about a year now. Did some brake work up front yesterday and noticed the sway bar top end link on the drivers side has cut one hell of a virticle groove into the trac bar frame mount.

Has anyone experienced this with the swaybar links that come with the kit?
Can the sway bar slide over in it's mount and cause this?
I didn't notice any clearance problems when I installed the kit.

sway bar is pretty stationary horizontally at least. The links should hold it in the same spot for the most part, unless both are bent. I would almost think that your axle isn't centered correctly, cuasing the sway bar to move.

loosen your sway bar and move it back over to the drivers side.it might have shifted ,it happens
