I just hit 200000 on the XJ on Saturday...


Of course.. ripped up the belt this morning on the ride in.. Searches reveal that it most likely is the Harmonic Balancer....

Guess I can't complain with that many miles on a 99...

Congratulations...you should buy something for your XJ as a gift! Perhaps a new belt and a harmonic balancer!

Not to be a PITA but, wouldn't he be in the 3rd century club?
0 - 100,000 = 1st century
100,000 - 200,000 = 2nd Century
ect.

Hmm... you might just have something there.

I guess I was thinking in terms of 100K increments elapsed. Thus, this would mean 2 "100K" medallions on the grill (ala Volvo in the 60s), or kill silhouettes(sp?) on the fender.

I love film... F4 - N80 - FG-20... But my CMOS just got Dirty... D70.. have to order the cleaning kit soon...
