Slip yoke with CV driveshaft?

I just happened across this in the back of 4WD Sport Ute mag....someone was offering to make a Rear Driveshaft with a Slip Yoke AND a CV?? Anyone seen this? Used it? Just one step simpler than a SYE? Wonder if it would do the trick?
Thanks for the input.

Obviously doing this would not amount to a SYE (Slip yoke eliminator). That's the main thing you want to accomplish on the newer style transfercases; get rid of the long a$$ output shaft/slip yoke :exclamati

Having the heavy CV style joint hanging out at the end of the long stock tail shaft may even make things worse.
