'99 & newer intake manifold and bored TB

Would this be a possible/worthwhile mod? I have a '95, and have heard that this manifold provides a smoother airflow. This combined w/a bored TB might add some power.

RE has one, but $300 is spendy. I believe it's 62mm.

Now, I have Rusty's TB spacer and cat back exhaust.

Where's the cheapest source for one of these new manifolds?

I bored out my factory TB and it helped at higher rpm, can't speak the manifold although I have heard it works well from the few that have done it.

The place to call and get some info is T&J Performance. They build Jeepspeed XJ's and I think I saw something about this is some mag and had them as a source for doing it.

i installed the new intake on my 91. best performance mod i ever did. i put on a bored out throttle body also 60mm. i dont think that a slightly modified xj needs a 62mm throttle body. and if you have to smog your jeep do you think it will pass when they see that red throttle body from RE.

No visual smog inspection here in WA, just the sniffer.:)

Wow, I must have it lucky in Minnesota, we have like totally no inspections, i could probably run pipes out of my roof straight off the head and no one would care, unless it is too loud :)
