Just thought id share the news that for the first time i felt the baby move in my future wife's stomach!!!
Shes 5 months pregnent now. I bought her a heart shaped diamond engagement ring with 3 round stones on each side in a white gold band and a matching wedding band with 10 of the same size rounds! The diamonds are cretified and flawless in color (F rating in color and an Si1 on flaws), so they really light up her finger. Total carrot weight is 1.03.
I pop the big question on sept 23rd which is our 1 year anaversary!!

Just figured id share the news with you guys and let you all know im really a family man who likes to kid around and loves this board!!

Thinking about this reminded me of when we brought my older son home from the hospital. We were very young at the time(wife was 19, I was 23). We kind of set him in his little carrier seat on the floor and just looked at himwith absolutely no idea what to do with him!
If you guys can, really try to have one parent home with your child. My wife has had the wonderful opportunity to be a stay at home mom, and it very much shows in our sons lives. Both of them are smart, polite and well adjusted. ( If not a bit rambunctious at times) We have had to change our personal desires and priorities to do it, but the investment in my kid's lives is far more important than a new BMW or a summer rental at the beach every summer.

Good Luck with your little one!

congrats, my first diaper change was her first poo. It shot out at me as soon as I took the diaper off. Those first few look like molasses because of the highly processed nature of it...

The mother in law, didnīt like me much, which is normal and often gave me a ration of $%!§ at every opprotunity. So I put off getting married as long as possible (she was like 8 months pregnant), revenge is sweat.
The preacher standing there says "These three are standing before God and this company, to exchange vows etc.", staring at her stomach and with a big grin on his face. Whole wedding party broke out laughing. Mother in law was trying real hard to be invisible :laugh3:

Good story. Were getting engaged on our 1 year anaversary (august 6th). Im hoping my girls parents dont think its a rushed event because of her being 5 months pregnent so to proove it, were just getting engaged but that was the original plan anyway before the baby! Were not getting married anyway for about 2 years give or take.
They think its too soon but only for small reasons-- like i have insomnia and take meds 2 sleep but i have to take alot cause im 270 lbs, 6" tall, and this has been over the past 7 years so my body doesnt know how to sleep without meds.--Second is they want to see better income and stability BUT yet we live in a ranch style house with 4 bedrooms, 2 baths, eat in kitchen, big living room with a wide screen 57 inch H.D. t.v. and a theature set up. She drives a 2003 ford F-150 super crew lariat which is the expensive model and i dont buy new cars so my 1995 cherokee sport (known as an XJ to you jeeper fans) is all paid up for, owned by me, no monthly payments, and is souped up with the lift kit, bigger tires, and way to many 2 list. Its a big 4 wheeler thats trail ridden on weekends and daily driven the rest of the time. She is stuck with a $560 payment for that dam truck for a few more years untill its paid in full so she cant even sell it bcause the bank owns it!!

With all that said i'll stop rambling on, but im just so excited!!

Thanks for all the congrats and i even appreciate the jokes as well.

I'll keep u guys informed when we find out if its a boy or a girl!

Congrats man!

My wife is in her 18th week with our third (fourth actually. read below). A little girl this time! Whoohoo!!!

Not to bring you down, but a wierd bit on mommys' tummies and babies. Last November my wife miscarried in the 11th week. We had to grab our two boys (9 and 4 at the time) and run to the emergency room at 1:00am. As far as I knew the boys slept through the whole thing. Then, one day about two months later the 4yo says, "Daddy, do you remember that time when Mommy got sick and spit up that baby she ate?" Wow! Try to explain that one to a 4yo. Like I say - Don't mean to bring you down. If it's kickin' it's good to go. Do you know: boy or girl? Do you want to know?
