OME shocks -- how tight at stud?

just want a second opinion... for my front shocks (OME long travel nitros), someone said they
should be tightened (top mount) until the rubber bushings on either side are squished to about
the size of the washer above and below them.

that would be considerably tighter than how i have them now, so wanted to double-check here.

thats pretty consistent with what I heard too.

where did you get your OMEs from? can you tell us the price?

i really don't recall what i paid for these (they've been installed for quite a while now, but
apparently not tight enough at the top).

i got them from dirk at DPG; i'm a happy customer and gladly refer folks to him.
tell him terry from colorado sent ya... he has great prices and better customer service.

im betting the response will be 'worth every penny', but are they really worth the money? I do about 99.9% street driving.
