Stock MJ driveshaft length

If anyone could tell me this, youd be my best friend for the week.

My truck had a uto swapped in by the previous owner, I swapped the manual back into it. And Im not sure if I have the right driveshaft.

1990 Jeep Comanche, 4.0, AX-15, NP231, D35. Im looking for the rear driveshaft measurement.

If anyone has it, (or would be so nice as to go and measuer theres) Id be exstatic.

HOw about test fitting it?


Is it a short or long bed?

short bed 87 same setup except ofr dana 44 is 42.5" so a dana 35 would be around 43 to 43.5"

it should be 1" longer than the shaft for the auto tranny (+/- 1/8")
