A few of us are doing some HC trails this weekend. Probably Pebbles in the morning, then M and a few others along Coal Rd. Right now theres just 3 of us, but if a few more want to hop in, thats fine, as long as your junk is capable.

Great catch me with my pants down why don't you. I would love to go but the XJ has no drive line and the MJ is well....................

Ahh, stick a seat in that shell, put an oh-sh!t handle on the dash and throw it on the trailer!! We'll drag you up to the top of M and roll you down!!! Thats pretty much what you did with the XJ, except you had the added weight of drivetrain under it!!!!!

Throw Petes ^-shaped junk on the trailer and thrash on that some more!! Tell Pete I bet he can't get the wheelbase to under 100"!! That ought to give him some incentive.

Andy just sparked an idea in my wacky mind...

Pete should cut his rig in half and make it work like an articulated dump truck...

How well do you think the rams would last on the sheet metal? then how long would it last with Pete?

In Pete's defense he almost made it the entire event without breakage. That has to be a record of sorts??

He DID make it the whole weekend without breakage. He just didn't (and neither did we) consider the "bendage" principal. Bendage is not breakage (technically speaking, of course).

As a matter of fact, I bet it is a long time before we see "bendage" again. Definite Props to Pete for setting the bar so high (or low...not sure which...).

I'll agree with that. Thanks Pete

Im glad that i could set the bar. It just sucks that i have to fix it. Not going to be able to make it i have some things to do in jersey this weekend. And i really dont want to beat the jeep till i get that ugly bend out of my (unibody) frame. Then put some sort of cage in it and maby put some fenders on it. Already took out allot of the scratches that i got from that ditch, so thats progress i guess. Ill have to thank my old roomate for putting on so many coats of clear on the paint.

Oh yea Andy, you are dam sure that i could make that wheelbase under 100 inches. Only like 7 inches to go that should be a cake walk. I bet that if i took out my rear doors the process would go faster. Oh yea thanks for the big heads up on the run. You know, not everyone can drive their jeep there like you can Andy. :)
