There are folks offshore (Indonesia mainly) trying to buy parts/accessories using stolen credit card numbers. Their MO seems to be conducting the transaction via email, rather than a phone call or mail, and sometimes will attempt to use multiple cards for one transaction.

If it looks like too good a thing (who wouldn't like to sell 5 expensive widgets in one shot?) it probably is!

Here is an email we received at NAXJA:

"Dear Sir,

My name Jxxxx Pxxxxx from Indonesia, I'm interested to buy from your store.
My order is:

- MileMarker 12000lbs PN 75-52000C, Quantity: 5 pieces.

Please confirm me the total prices and shipping cost to Singapore.
by FedEx.
Do you accept Visa/Mastercard?

I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Best Regards,

Jxxxx Pxxxx"

Yeah I have ran into that on Ebay as well. Was selling golf clubs and some guy offered me 3 times the reserve the first day, but he wasn't willing to use Paypal or anything else.Got be really careful these days.

Was he trying to buy something off the for sale forum or is he too retarded to figure out this is a bulletin board system?? Or does NAXJA have some super secret retail parts store?
