New carb?

My '85s 2.5L is pretty weak. It has 125,000 miles on it and will eventually need replaced. In the mean time, I'd like to put a new carb on the 2.5L to help it run stronger. I can get NAPA parts for around 40% off, so I'd like to use a carb I can get through them, but most of the stuff they carry is OEM and not aftermarket. Is there a 2 barrel carb that was used as an OEM unit that would work on my '85 2.5 and help performance? Maybe from another Jeep motor?

Unless there is something obviously wrong with the carb, save yer bux for later mods...all carbed 2.5s are single barrel....
