Has anyone ever had to relocate their rear leaf spring shackle mount? Over the winter I bought Alcan's 8 inch leafs, they are stiff as a board and it seems that the rear shackle is now too far back. Because the shackle is not near straight up and down. I asked Alcan about it, and this is what they sent me:

"Adam
Being a 8" they were built on the light side , in most
cases if we get much lighter they give to much body roll. Some things
you can check remove one end of the shocks and see if it moves easier ,
most are telling us that over the 6" lift the shackle end is a problem
with the hanger and they have change it and use a dog leg shackle . You
might check with www. bigoffroad.com they only do Chero. or Factory
Tubular (801-799-0586). If you did not lube the bushings you need to do
that. Let me know if this helps "

I don't want to remake the shackles, because I'm running revolvers and don't want to remove them. My only other option is to move the mount foward. Anyone have to do this before? Any other suggestions? Thanks,
