I'm swapping a 96-97(not sure) 4.0HO into my 91 and I'm wondering about the oil pressure sender. On my old engine it's for a gauge and is about 1.5" around. The new one has a much smaller sender. I can't find a part # and the connector is a 2 wire. can anyone give me some identifying tricks so I don't wreck a gauge by connecting it?
TIA
BTW what's the vin # digit for the year? I used to kow all that stuff when I worlked in a Body Shop but not I don't use it much since I'm a teacher.

Either use your old sender or get a new one. There was a breakoff year but I'm not sure of the breakdown. Some of the senders were pressure/no pressure types. The other thing to consider is swapping in your old oil filter mounting assembly so that the filter ends up facing the same direction and angld. Some one just went thru this about a month ago and posted pics.
