I definately know that the cat is the problem. It's rattling an ungodly amount.

So, I followed someone's recommendation on JeepsUnlimited and bought this
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...tem=7931889499&category=33629&sspagename=WD1V

but of course, it wasn not OBD2.

So I sent it back, and bought this

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7984992271

Its OBD2 compatible and universal, but its smaller than my current cat, and it doesn't have a little, i think its called a boss, but that little hole for the 02 sensor to go in.

They shipped it with an 02 bung however.

Is this thing going to fit or do I need to get something else?
Where do I find out what part numbers fit my cherokee?

I'm shooting for a hiflow universal due to cash constraints.

Thanks guys, I want to get this done pretty soon.

buy a stright peice of exhaust pipe and clamp it in. also if there is an 02 sensor in the cat, get a 02 sensor simulator. problem solved all for less then $30

it will fit you will just have to drill/tap a hole and weld the bung up near the cat. if i were you i would have kept my money and gutted your stock cat unless you are having to deal with emissions

Alright, so the size difference will be made up by inserting another piece of pipe and then pop a hole and weld the bung into that pipe ?

Or is the hole made in the cat and then the bung welded in?

Thanks a lot for the help guys.
