I'm sure this has been asked 11ty billion times, but here goes again.

Wanting to add a simple 2" BB to my 2001 XJ. What is the best kit to use and what should I look out for?

Specifically the kit I've mainly looked at is by Rough Country & it uses .5" blocks, 1.5" shackles in the rear & 2" spacers up front.

What kind of negative side affects could I be looking at (aside from vibrations)? Will the front axle be off center? Will the stock track bar, pitman arm & control arms be ok? Will the caster angle need to be adjusted? What about the pinion angle?

I know it's just 2", but I do a lot of highway driving and this is my DD so I don't want to go to the trouble just to regret it later.

The biggest "possible" problem would be the need for an SYE kit.

2" Daystar, spacers on front & greasable shackles on the rear, on my ' 99 with 31x10.5's and homemade bumpstops extentions on the rear.
Works for me, no problems. :)
OK .... got the box it came in.
here is what it says......

front coil spacer 1-3/4" kit with rear 1" greasable shackle.
1984 - 2001 Jeep Cherokee XJ 2 wd & 4 wd
1984 - 1993 Jeep Commanche MJ 2 wd & 4 wd
Think this is the part #.... KJ09,106BK
(guess its not a true 2 inches :( )

Heres 2 pics complete with saggy rear springs......
