wrangler D44??

How feesable is this swap? I know there were issues withthe WJ D44 having aluminum parts in them. what excactly is aluminum in the axle? does the wrangler have the same issues? has this been discussed and i misses it? How is the width compare to an XJ?

are you looking at a TJ or YJ wrangler? ;) either one will require some cutting and welding... the TJ one will require a whole lot of cutting (to remove bracketry)

The grand cherokee D-44s entire center section is aluminum... not just some internals.

I did not think the YJ ever got a D44? If I were to go to a TJ D44 I'd bring the coils with it!
