Winch not centered?

Hello! I am going to temporarily install my bro's warn 9500 on my xj and although it fits in the front bumper, it doesnt fit centered. Although the physics involved suggest that I place it as centered as possible, would it hurt to install it off center for a while? Any comments suggestions appreciated!
