Did anyone get pics of the chopper flying out, or even better, of the rolled junk?

I swore someone took some pics, but can't remember who, as it was kind of hectic.

Looked through several posted albums and didn't see pics......

Yes, saw those. No pics of the chopper or the rolled rig in there, and I know someone took pics!

Yeah, I'd like to see some of those pics. I didn't take any chopper pics as I was in the jeep the whole time sitting next to both radios. Dan was in the same boat as he was sitting in his jeep by his two radios.

That same day at 11 am we were rolling in at Ellis Creek, got stuck in a back up at the start of Walker hill. One of the guys with us noticed he had lost 4 of 5 lugs on his back rim

All the studs fell in to the hub and the threads were worked over hard.

So we re-pressed the studs in:

And Tack them to keep them from spinning

The threads on the studs were wasted and filled with crap off the rim, with out even being asked a guy on the trail behind us GAVE us his file and just said "give it back if you see us on the trail"

This was him getting his file out for us:

The driver asked me to take a shot of him with his BB gun

We said thanks and they drove off

I never saw them again, and did not put it together till monday that that was Pete. Really nice guy I hope the best for him.

check the rubicon planning thread, or the threads on Pirate in the Gen4x4 and Rubicon sections. sounds like he's gonna make it, minus a kidney and spleen.

The only person that I saw taking pictures of the copter was the one lady that was there. Don't know who she was.
