Just a quick question about yj brake lines for my xj. I went to napa to get to get the new set and found yj lines have a round end and xj lines have a square end. Is this right or do i need a certain brand name to fix this problem?
Thanx Digger
I did do a search and found no answers!

No. They'll work. Notice that they have a small cut out on one side? That will face the caliper and keep it where it should be on the caliper. Well...that and the BOLT !

You know how to fit a square peg in a round hole, right? BFH.

that doesn't look like any YJ hose I have ever seen. The YJs look like the XJs only a little longer "hose", not longer tube

then you arent looking at the true YJ lines...

YJ lines rubber is the same as the XJ - the hard brakeline tube is longer....

to the guy with the blingin silver shocks:
cut the padded spot off the XJ line and zip tie it to the YJ line where the shock will rub... Jeep put thoes pastic things on there to prevent the shock on the YJ from rubbing the brake line, but it doesnt lign up with the XJ shocks

here is what i did...

i have noticed a lack of paint on my shocks where that rubs - and even if i am full of shit - you have nothing to loose...

Seems like when I put on YJ lines (from NAPA) I had to reshape/bend the lower hard line a bit to get them pointed where I thought they'd be happiest. OTOH that was like 5 years ago so...

Yep, I did the same thing, the passenger side lower hard line was hitting my tire the way it came from NAPA so I bent it out of the way.
