Hi all.
Just wanted to share some info with you about the replacement fans that Quadratec is selling for 97-01 XJ's
I just got mine yesterday and installed it today. Fit and finish on the unit is very nice. The fan works excellent.
BUT....the electrical connector that comes with it is not very well constructed and the pins do not want to connect to the factory OEM ones.
So if you are buying one of these you may want to snip off your old connector and swap it onto the new one. Thats what I did. Snip'd em both, swap'd em both and soldered the old to the new. Some electrical tape and its like new.
I forgot how much airflow those fans actually pull.
Just something to consider if you're looking to get one from them. Aside from the connector issue, I would recommend them to everyone. Good service and fast delivery.
