OK, here is the situation:

I have an '86 XJ with a 3" AAL lift kit that now sits at about 1.5" due to leaf spring sag. I want to gain an additional 1.5-2" to get me back close, or slightly over my original mark. Please rate the following options in terms of cost, and effectivness:

1. Extended shackles
2. Lift blocks
3. Another AAL
4. Whole new spring pack

Thanks a bunch

4. Whole new spring pack

There you go, rated in cost and effectiveness.

Ditto...

I would reccomend removing the AAL and getting a four inch aluminum lift block from Auto Zone. You may need to stack a pair of 2" block, but with stock leaves and 4" blocks that would be one flexy sucka!! only costs about 30 bucks too. Were talking serious offroad capabilities. And since they are lift blocks you won't need a SYE or new shocks!!

j/k do what everyone else said.

2nd on the Dakota leaf pack probably just use the dak main leaf to get it to the ride height you want, and they can be had at the salvage yards for $25
