i have a 94 xj, it has 30x9.5's all around and they rub, way more then i would like them to. what different low cost options do i have to get 2-3" of lift so they stop rubbing and tearing up my flares. the rears have already windowed the flares and the fronts are starting to tear apart now.
what would everyones suggestion be? i want to spend as little as possible.
i need front and rear

You can get front ZJ coil springs and rear Dodge Dakota spring packs.

I made my own lift spacers for the front and bought longer shackles for the rear. Dakota springs and ZJ coils are also a good way to go. The rear can also use SMALL lift blocks, not the best option, but is cheap. I have also read that F150/E150 front coils will fit and give 2-3in lift.
Also see http://www.cheapxj.com/ good info here.

i couldnt get that link to work..... thank everyone for all the help..... this is my DD, but ride quality isnt much of a concern, i look it comfort the same way as getting it dirty..... its a jeep what do you expect.....
front: how much lift would ZJ front coils add vs. f-150? and are either one better then doing say 2-3" spacers?
rear: dakota leafs vs. shackles and blocks..
again i appreciate everything you all have to say
and if anyone has these parts laying around, let me know the price and we can talk about easing your load alittle

get a 2" BB. poly spacers for the front and shackles for the rear. the shackels are better for the rear because they are reusable when you decide to lift the jeep higher. FYI, the stock shocks will have enough travel with the 2" lift.
$99 from rusty's.....

thats strange... i got a 94 with 31 10.5 MT(bald) stock and i dont rub enouf to the point where its a problem.. what you could do for practicly free is get ur hands on some MJ shackles they'll give about an inch of lift then you could stack a couple coil spring isolators in the front and it will give you a little bit. its worth a try if you dont have the $$ right now

Check the local papers, e-bay, and the jeep forums for parts for sale. You can do it for about 1/2 to 1/3 the price of new.
Good wheelin'
