Made the kids clean the house, went to my dad's and let them swim for a few hours, then came home and made them scour the house for my DVD they lost before they could eat dinner......

And none of them whined about it.......

It was a good day.

Spent half the day working on building a new shed along with my wife, 11 year old son, and 23 year old, gorgeous, prospective stepdaughter-in-law, then grilled some steaks for dinner.

How many Dads does it take to change a lightbulb?

ONE!

But first, he needs to buy a new circular saw, belt sander, and nail gun!

I'm 1100 miles from where dad's buried, so I just drank to fight off depression.

I hate fathers day now.

Well... I did drive a Hummer all day.

While that sounds like it would be a good way to spend Father's Day, it is not nearly as fun as you would think when you are in Iraq running convoy security and it is 108 degrees.

Would have much rather been at home driving the Jeep.

Trouble brewing? :kissyou:

I spent the day in training here in Atlanta - cell phone was dead (forgot the charger, won't be here 'til Tuesday) so I e-mailed the old man.
