motor mount removal

I am trying to remove the motor mount on the passenger side. I took off the oil filter, but still cant slide the main bolt out. The part the filter screws into is in the way still. Do i have to remove this too?

Yes you do, and while you have it out you may want to replace the three "O" rings associated with it.

If you are going to do one mount, do the other too. replacing one will cause the other to fail sooner and you will be back at it again, or you will be alternating between the two until you decide to do both at the same time!
