can you fit 4.88's on a 29 spline chrysler 8.25 with an ARB locker?

i didn't think you can go any deeper than 4.56 gears on that axle but i may be wrong.

Nope unfortunatley not. I`m sure u have the D30 HP RC in the front as well wich maxes out at 4:56

You can get 4.88s for your RC D30.

I have 4.88's.......RC D30 and D44.


I'm not sure about a ring/pinion for the 8.25, though.

4.88 for 8.25? Nope, not available, not that I know of! Lowest you can go is 4.56

Not the one that is in it today. The one that is going in tomorrow is and before Moab it might have the 4.88s.

This might be SPOBI, but the low pinion D30 goes no deeper than 4.56.

I priced the 4.88s for the HP today @ $179. Does anyone know where I can get them cheaper?

That's a pretty fair price. I think you might do a little better, but only by $10 or $15.......
