How many caster shims did it take behind your short arms to get a satisfactory,
vibration free ride? With a 4" lift and 33" tires I needed 3 thick and one thin behind my RE short LCA's.

The more shims the worse the chance of vibes from the front shaft so don't quite know what you are saying there? You add shims to increase your caster to get it as close to stock without inducing any vibes to get better tracking on road. Shims come in all different thickness as well so no one can say what to use if they dont know what thickness you are talking about. You have to measure your caster first and then add shims and test drive to see what you can run. Look at my write up on it on doing your own alignment to figure out what to run yourself.
