Lift question (245/75/16 Goodyear MTR tires)

I've got an '01 (with the “upcounty” offroad option), currently running the stock wheels/tires and I would like to mount some 245/75/16 Goodyear MTR tires on the stock rims.

I have searched the forum, but have not found the answers to the following questions.

• What is the minimum lift I need to retain stock vehicle articulation?

• Any pictures of a 2001 XJ and 245/75/16 Goodyear MTR’s?

• Should I instead consider 255/70/16 Goodyear MTR’s? Any pictures??

Many thanks in advance for any info provided!

Have you looked in the picture forum?

How about xjdb.com?

The latter has lots and lots of pics.

If it helps, wifey will be running 245's on her DD with 2" of lift.
