My Jeep will not start

I went out to drive the Jeep today and I turned the key and it cranked but no start. I pushed the shrader valve and fuel came out so I assume the fuel pump is working. What else can I check to find out what the problem is?

Check the Crankshaft Position Sensor. Don't ask me where it is because I had a shop replace it but the symptoms are the same and every xj owner I know has had to replace it.

Chris.

The crankshaft position sensor is located near the top of the drivers side transmission bellhousing.

After you check the CPS, I'd check out the ignition coil, ignition module, and the distributor to make sure they are all getting spark.
