on takeoff

occasionally on a takeoff, my xj will dog down a little and then jump back up to where it should be, its 4.0, just after a takeoff as I am pressing the gas it may just cut down a little just for a second and then kick back up, any ideas of why, or what this could be?

tune up.... maybe bad fuel pick up..... but im thinking tune up will solve all your problems

if it dogs down a little and then jumps up on takeoff make sure that your flaps are in the right position and that the propellers are spinning evenly (sorry, couldn't resist)

Mine (still) does the same thing. One time, it even made a pretty noise to accompany the hesitation.
