i've got a 92' xj and the maintnace requiered light is on. would any one know how to turn it off. thanks

that would be your "emmisions timer" it is mileage triggered and it tells you its time to replace the O2 sensor... you can disconnect it yourself under the dash... drop down the cruise control box and it will be right above it... a small box plugged into the harness.. no reset on it... dealer can slap in a new one or you can run without it..

my emissions light has been on for about 4 yrs now....maybe 5, since around 80,000 or so, and it is at 215,000 now and has yet to be changed...just had to adjust to the constant light on....
