cheapest K&N conversion!!

Hey i did try searching for this but couldnt really find anything...


i want more power and a healthy rig....but i dont want to pay 300 for a fricken $20 filter and some plastic piping. Im going to make my own tube and just buy the filter. Anyone have any comments/ideas of what to use? some of you have probably done this sooo tell me what works best thanks




also going to bore out the throttle body and get flowmaster exhaust.....headers farther down the road if i need them.....

Make the intake yourself or spend the $29 on Rusty's.

Someone here recently posted a thread on making your own out of steel tubing. I just finished mine. It was a lot of work, but I like the result. Search here for "custom FIPK" and you'll find it. I did a few things differently, I welded the fittings instead of gluing.

another vote for the rustys tube, and I used an"S&B" filter (similiar to a K&N, but better)
