Steering box spacer thickness?

I need to know how thick an XJ’s aluminum steering box spacer is.
I'm making inner and outer reinforcement plates. I will not be able to measure the spacer thickness until everything is disassembled.
I want make the new spacers ahead of time and them weld them to the inner plate once I have the spacer in hand, to be use as a drilling guide.
