Ripped me off for 45 bucks for some seat rails. He has had the money order for a month now, and still has not shipped them. Nothing but excuses :mad: His name is Mike Fergusen from Knoxville, TN. He is lucky he lives on the other side of the states! :hang:

Very odd indeed, Mr. Serling ;) Actually, I was able to dig up some posts by him - link's here (http://www.naxja.org/forum/search.php?searchid=509216).

I'm gonna make a suggestion here: before the lynch mob assembles, let's give the guy a chance to get his side of things across. Yeah, four weeks is a long time to wait and if you have been quantifiably ripped off then by all means let other people know - but by the same token, I've done deals with people in the past where I haven't heard from them for a long time, then suddenly get a PM explaining that they had to go out of town because of something that happened to a close relative, etc. Also, you might want to check the guy's eBay feedback (http://feedback.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback&userid=fergmonster-new) to get some idea of how he's dealt with non-NAXJA folks in the past.

I'm not saying we don't crucify the weasels, just that we don't necessarily brand them as such without knowing what the deal is first (and I'm not doubting your word on this, 88flexj, just saying we should get both sides of the story) . Checking the guy's profile, it shows his last activity as having been 2 Days Ago at 21:35 - so he's checking the forums but probaby isn't aware of this thread yet since it was started after he last logged off. Pardon me if I overstepped my bounds here, but I shot him a PM asking him to check it out; let's see what happens.

I agree with you on giving him a chance to tell his side of the story. The excuses never stop with him though. One pm says "I got them out, will email tracking number tonight" them a week goes buy and he never did ship them, but claims to have lost my address, and needs it again. I send him the address again and wait another week. Then he says "dude I'm an ass, I still haven't shipped them yet ''. Now he no longer responds to emails. I am very patient because it's no hurry to get these, but there comes a time when you have to cut your losses. I started this post just to warn others before he gets them for thier money. Now I know why most guys will only deal with members. I have learned my lesson. :lecture:

if you buy from the guys in RED at least if you have a problem, most of us would get on them about it.

Just to give everyone an update, the seat rails arrived yesterday. He sent them out Fed-ex overnight for more than double what a paid for them. He is not a rip off artist afterall, just busy like everyone else :)

i didn't mean to cause a stink over any of this, but i've been working two jobs. wife lost hers, and i didn't really even have time to explain why they were not shipped out..........i hope all on the board forgive me!!! take it easy guys............
