Stabilizer shock removel?

Just wondering if there is a trick to remove it, or is it just rusted in place. I've taken the bolt out of the canister end, the nut off the other, but it won't pull out. I thought it would just pull right out, but nope! Any help would be great. thanks

tow ways of doing it .either get a pickle fork or put the castle nut back on to bolt just enough to cover the bolt head and give it a smack with a hammer

If you completely remove the castle nut, put a small ratchet strap or a big bungee around the shock and the steering link. It will probably let go with a lot of force and smack into something (oil pan). Guess how I know.
