window track adjustment?

My passenger side window is extremely hard to roll down and grinds more and more the further down you do. Usually, if you roll it down too far it gets stuck, the crank handle just turns and makes a grinding noise, and it takes 2 people to get it back on track so that it rolls up. Does anybody have an adjustment method for this, or at least some insight on how to correct the problem? thanks!

sounds like the regulator went bad. no adjustment, needs to be replaced.

regulator? know where i can pick one up? I have the same problem on two of my windows.....but mine are power if that makes a difference.

when mine went bad i converted to power windows. i bought the kit from quadratec.

you could try a junk yard. if you try that route, bring a cordless drill. the regulators are rivited in.
