View Full Version : 89 How to remove The Front Clip

Mine has some damage to it and i am wondering is it hard to remove the whole thing and replace it ?

I believe on the '89 the header panel is held on by 4 nuts that are hidden behind the headlight trim. Just take off the trim and nuts and then disconnect the wireing harness and you shuold be golden. Shouldn't take more than an hour or two.

OK i removed it Thanks alot took me about 15 mins :)

Might wanna leave the new clip off, 'till you're done with the engine. It's much easier to pull/re-install the engine with the clip off.

Guess that was plan anyway.
Right?

Thats excaly what i thought as i pulled it off HAHA thanks man :)
