Fuel Tank Swap ?

What all is involved in a swap if I swap an 87 fuel tank for a 95 fuel tank ?
I'm asmming the fuel lines and such are the same , but maybe some different wiring issues. Thanks for Any help

There is no wiring to the tank. Were you planning to swap the 95 fuel pump with the 95 tank, or keep the 87 fuel pump? If you plan to use the 95 fuel pump, you should check a dealer or parts house to see if they are interchangable. Chrysler reversed the poalrity on the instrument wiring in 1991 and that might cause your fuel gauge to read backwards if you keep the 95 stuff in the tank. I'm not certain about that, though.

It is actually my Brother in law and he probably will just keep the 95 pump in it. I'll have him check with the dealership. THX !
