Need an AW4 spec

I'm doing some fiddling around trying to get this AW4 behind a V-8, and need an answer I can't find.

When installing the trans, the bellhousing bolts are tight, and the converter is pushed all the way back into the bellhousing.... how far forward does the converter come to make contact with the flexplate?

I'm thinking it's only around an 1/8 inch at most.. anybody working on one right now?

I've got a dead one in the driveway that you're welcome to look at.

i just reinstalled mine for the umpteenth time in two weeks and as i recall each time i bolted the TC up to the flexplate the TC was 1-2 eights of an inch away when i started fishing for it.....Hth
