has anyone played around with Lego Mindstorm?

I just picked up a set and damn that is one sweet toy! I found out recently that you can override the internal programming and write your own AI module in quite a few different languages. I think I'm going to be pulling some late nights playing with it :D

Yeah, I bought one way back when they first came out.....they were neat.

I had one too when it first came out. It was a lot of fun, but I think it was a little complex for me at the time. Might have to go see if I can find mine.

I don't know how complex it was orignally but the current interface is pretty easy to operate. I'm after writing my own code from scratch though :D
