So i bought a 00 xj this weekend. it's completley stock except the rear shocks. the previous owner put some hoss gas shocks on the rear and they actually raise the rear of the vehicle 2". Going down the road it's got a little roar that gets louder with engine load. (more noticeable at 75 and above) if you give it gas the roar gets louder. You really don't have to go any faster just more load on the engine. I'm thinking it's possibly a pinion bearing. I was wondering if the additional 2" in the rear and stock height in front may be binding the driveshaft just enough to make a little noise. thanks fellas. sorry so long

oh yeah i'm putting a 6" on it this weekend or next. so the way it sits now doesn't really bother me.
