headlight grounds

i read this week that if you clean the headlight plugs and their grounds that they'll work better... where the hell are the grounds grounded for the head lights or should i just clean the fuse box ground
 
Just start looking for black wires or bare wires that are connected to the fenders, firewall, back of the grill, usually with a screw or bolt. Those are grounds.

In some cases, this may indeed hold true. If you're looking for more brightness, though, replace both the positive and ground leads with heavier-gauge wiring. Hit up the search for more info on this; there have been a lot of threads on it in the past.
