Just looking for people to go wheeling with, and didn't know if anyone had any suggestions on clubs, groups, or anything. There's a few up here, Two Mile High and Holy Cross, but I can't seem to find out how to get a hold of Holy Cross. Two Mile only seems to have outings once a month, and I would like to get out as much as possible. Hopefully through a little networking I can find people to go with after work too.

Suggestions are appreciated.

Jason

Heaven forbid that the Colorado members of NAXJA go wheeling. wait, there is this one guy that shows up to wheel with IC group. now, what was his name?

Jason, Let me know when you would like to go wheeling? My paretns live up in Leadville so I am up there quite a bit. Also I know a lot of people from the Avon area and a lot with jeeps.

You could just go wheeling with the Colorado NAXJA chapter, they still own jeeps dont they?

I wasn't trying to say I was looking for people other than NAXJA members to go with. I would love to meet some people from this chapter. Sandman, sounds good. If you're coming up here, shoot me an e-mail at jdbwrx@hotmail.com and maybe we can meet up. Living in the high country there still isn't a lot open around here, so choices might be a bit limted right now.

Maybe I should have specified that I am looking for as many wheeling compadre options as possible.

My parents have a condo in Avon(Christy Lodge) and i get up there about once or twice a year. Only 4wheeled once while i was up there(last year) and it was pretty fun. Don't remember the name of the trail i went up, but it was just across the interstate and up the hill from the lodge.

What other online groups are you apart of?

Like it has been mentioned Colorado4x4.org is a great place to find people to wheel with. Also look in the ColoradoXJ.com there are some good people there two. The only thing is that the majority of the people here on NAXJA are on Colorado XJ but there is always the ones that are not here.

There are several memebers on Colorado4x4.org that are from Leadville, Minturn, Avon, Edwards and all the way down to Gypsum. So that is a great group. Also there is aways someone posting something to go wheeling.

Have you gone down the Holy Cross 4x4 and talk to them about when they wheel. Also check over at Stagewest in Glenwood. I know the owner Joel and he is a good guy.

Here is also a link to look for other clubs too.
