Mods for the MJ

I just bought a 90' MJ with the 4.0

Im just looking for some cheap little stuff to get a little more power out of it. Aside from exhaust and air filter stuff, what else can be done on the cheap to get a little more out of these motors.

Im not looking to get 50hp for 50 cents. Just something to make it a little better.

there's a good writeup of stuff like that in the member's tech section, I would recommend joining the NAXJA ranks, and not just for that reason.

Just remember yours is a Renix motor, so the Throttle body and some other stuff is different than HO's (91 and later). There is a guy on E-Bay that bores Renix TB's to 59.5mms or so. He tried to go to 62mm bore, but I think he had problems. Armour XJ also has some parts. As listed before, check Dino's site, also Go-Jeeps and MAD-XJ are some good sites.
