Steering with lift

Okay this is prolly a stupid question but last night i was putting my 4.5" lift and once i got the front done i noticed togo straight the steering wheel was turn a 1/4 turn to the right. My friends yj did this with 3" lift and it was corrected with a drop pitman arm. Rusty's say that I should be fine till 6" of lift or more. Anyone know what im talking about, and is there something that should be done that i didnt know about. You can prolly tell this is my first time puttin in a lift.. thanks in advance

Uhmm, maybe you need to get it aligned?

yeppers... stock steering should be *ok* below +6 but you did change the alignment by lifting.
