Emergeny help needed

ok, i have searched a few times, but really dont have the time to do that this time...

will a np231 from a TJ or a YJ bolt straight into my XJ?
i knwo the 21/23 spline count difference - the ax-5 models will ahve tge 21 splines where i need the 23...

i seem to remember someting about clocking being different on the two of them and not being a straight bolt in...

anyone?

I'm running a '99 TJ 231...

At the time I was unaware of the spline count difference and slapped in my HD SYE and bolted it right up...

and I'm sure you can figure out the rest...



I had to use my old 231 input and linkage to get it to work...

Been in about 6 years now with no differences

I beleive the clocking is done with the adapter,also check spline length.
