Bad bushings

Can worn bushings and end links on a sway bar can result in a harsh ride??? And if my swaybar is 23mm, can I just take it off and install a new 24mm one ???? Thx a lot guys ...

I don't see why it would result in a harsh ride unless the bushings were totally gone and as you went to turn the body would start to roll and then suddenly stop. I would think that you would just experience bad body roll.
