I have 2 xj's, an 88 limited and a 98 limited. The 88 is going to be my brother's 16th birthday present and it served me well, but before it goes to him I would like to take the factory skid plates and put them on my 98 if possible. Both are 4.0l,auto, and have the selec-trac transfer case. I am starting to build up the 98 and am on a budget so if I can save some money this way I'll be able to lift it sooner. Also I'd like to transfer the tow hitch since I have too many friends with broken jeeps and/or cars needing a tow to the dragstrip. Anyways, will the skid plates fit and how difficult is the process. Thanks.
