Meet and Greet at the end of May??

The wife and I will be in the Ft. Collins/Boulder/Denver area at the end of May. We'll be visiting the colleges there and looking at the towns to see if we want to spend the next 5-7 years there.

We'd like to meet some fellow NAXJAers and have some drinks and food.

Lemme know if y'all are interested, and we'll get something going.

We'll be stopping overnite in the Springs, and may be visiting family if they're home.

Well, the wife is thinking dinner somewhere, and then maybe to some palce called Dave and Busters. She says it is a fun place to relax and have a few drinks.

Downtown is where it's at. Phantom Canyon has better food than the tavern, and is a good brewery. More interesting people to look at. Than you cruise down the alley to 15C, a door marked only by one blue light over it, and go into a really cool, but really smoky, martini and cigar bar, and make fun of the REALLY cool people like cross-dressing hair-dressers. Besides, downtown I can walk home. I'd probably make it to the Bee, though.

UCCS has a fairly strong psych dept. My ex-business partners wife got her MS in psych there with an emphasis on statistics. Does neighborhood statistical profiles for the cops now.

Not quite a Chapter meet and greet like you are thinking.

My point was to get some folks together for some brews, and sodas for the yutes.

We are passing through CS on our way to the northern areas(Den, Ft. C, Boulder).

My wife is visiting schools, and we are taking advantage of a free timshare in Silvercreek.

Memorial Day, Monday, May 31st from 10AM to 3PM.
The Car Show/Event Flyer is coming, if I knew how to post an attachment on this site. Who can I e-mail it to?
They event manager will make/has made special parking area available for us(on a hill), with town approval if we have a photo shoot.

P.S.: Left Hand Canyon is just over 1/2 hour away :paperwork !!!

Mead is a small community surrounded by $500,000+ homes.
We had 275 registered voters last year.
The town highlights are the new Post Office and the new 1st National Bank under constrution on Main St (old 4th St).
For entertainment we have the Diehard Saloon(for sale), also 0n Main St.
The hill we have permission to use for a photo shoot is just east of 1st St., as you come from I-25 into town from on Weld County Road 34 (Welker Ave).
It's future use is to be for sledding purposes to the kids in town and is next to the town's skate park.
The car show will be on Main St.(4th St). Park where you want.
It's suggested the photo shoot take place at noon so we can head to LHC shortly thereafter.

Directions to LHC:
From Mead go south on Weld County Road 7 (3rd St) to CO Hwy 66 - 2 miles.
(Alt.preferred: east on Weld County Rd 34 to Boulder County Line Rd. - 3 miles, South on County Line Rd to CO Hwy 66. - 2 miles).
West on CO Hwy 66 to US Hwy. 36 - 14 miles (alt.: 11 miles).
South on US Hwy 36 to Left Hand Canyon Rd., - 6 miles.
West on Left Hand Canyon Rd to the entrance of LHC on the north side of the road - 3 1/2 miles.
Total distance= 25 1/2 miles.
