Just wondering if anyone has tried the rubicon monotube shocks and if they are worth the money compared to DDT3000 shocks or anyothers???

I don't mean to be a dick (can't help it sometimes) but you'd get more responses in the technical forum.

I'm running them on my XJ, and getting ready to put a set on my F250. They ride good on-road, and perform really well off-road. They are supposedly the same as Bilstein 5100s, but cheaper.

Oh, and as Dick (Mark) said. Put it in modified tech.

That's it, Travis, you're my buddy now and you've got no choice in the matter. Only my friends get to poke fun at me that way. :kissyou:

There is more where that came from. Looking forward to seeing you at Redbird. Maybe pulling you off of another hill. :laugh3:

Sorry to hijack the thread. If you want to see them in action I suggest going to Redbird May 7th. Should be a good time.

I'm bringing my Suburban this time, and that pig doesn't leave the pavement. I'm playing spotter/bitch for Dirk Pitt this go 'round.

Thanks for the tug, BTW, and I'll be happy to demonstrate how to climb a sand dune should you require a refresher.

They aren't smoked they're Carbon Fiber. :lecture:
Hopefully by Redbird, I'll have my StreetGlow lights and body kit installed, along with a cold air kit that will add 65hp!

Ah, the things you do when you're young and nieve...

Yeah, and the whole trying to get up the sand dune thing was pretty pathetic, but I'm learning.

Well in that case, nevermind.

You underestimate the capability of the MWC to turn a perfectly normal technical thread into a never-ending discussion about... well, nothing really.

Right on. And now for something completely different.

Good idea. I wanna get some Bilsteins for my Suburban... it has Monroe Sensatracks on it now and I have no clue how old they are. I think I have Rusty's or Rock Krawlers on my big XJ, I don't remember since I bought them slightly used about 2 years ago and haven't wheeled it since. Shouldn't this be in tech? Dumb idea, Prep.

Yeah....good thing blinker fluid is non-toxic. Drinking it picked up my web-whelling abilities BIG time. Thanks for the tip.
