What else should I do...

with the valvle cover off? Going to be taking off the valve cover this weekend and putting on a new gasket to stop some leaking. While doing this I plan to thoroughly clean the cover inside (including baffles) and out.

While it is off though, I was wondering what else I should do/check? Ideas, suggestions? Thanks.

would be a good time to make sure your oil drain holes in the head are clear. make sure to clean up any oil build up that is there if any ( you know the molasses looking stuff) make sure all rockers are in good shape
