dana 30 question

got my hands on a YJ (not a YJ specific question!), hit in the left front. Looked like the axle was bent, but turns out the housing looks ok, the U bolts snapped, the leaf spring broke, and the force of the driveshaft back broke the xfer case housing (that's another post). Axle is leaking from the driver's side end, around the axle shaft. Is this a fixable thing, assuming the shaft and housing aren't really bent?

With that much collateral damage, don't eyeball the housing and 'think' it's okay. If you absolutely have to have it, that's one thing but this one sounds like it's been through the wringer...
